Photoshop Travels/Art Work

Jenna
<---The picture to the left is a Speed paint that I did for my best friend Jenna Sumey. I was in the mood to paint someone via Photoshop and i was currently talking to her on MSN messenger at the time. Badabing, Badaboom, and we have a picture of Jenna.

I had learned a lot from the picture, mostly how to paint fur on her hat, but also how to make a human face look as tired as possible. (The picture was taken on her vacation so she wasn't at her prime.)

What Zombie's Eat

The picture to your right is something I ---->
created while doing the PSSA's. It was
after the test and I was extremely bored.
I drew the basic sketch and loved it so I
decided to scan it into Photoshop and
redraw it there.

I learned how to create my own pallet from
this picture. I created my own skin color and
all of the tones I used in the picture. (As well
as hair and eye colors.)

<---- This picture was drawn when i was extremely bored. I was writing a story because my internet was down while listening to my oldies music playlist. (Queue Bad Company by Bad Company) The story was going nowhere fast so I decided to draw the specific scene out. It is the main character traveling through hell with her pistol and her flames.

I learned to keep my pictures light an easy when I want to do a quick sketch. I also learned to do add special effects to make the picture have more pizzazz to it.

This picture has to be my favorite ever. ---->
Not only is it my favorite actor/role model
(Besides Steven Spielberg.), but he is wonderful to draw. This one picture took a week to make sure everything was right (and let me tell you that
was so difficult.

I learned soooooo much with this picture. I learned a lot about painting hair (namely facial hair) and also light and shading. This was my first really serious picture with Photoshop painting. I am extremely happy how it turned out.

<----- I have to say this one came about from a dream. My dream consisted of a world where zombies took over. They continued life as we know it now, serving brain-burgers, fingers, and blood-shakes instead of hamburgers, fries, and milkshakes. This picture is based on that saying that is a zombie was civilized this is what it would eat.

I loved playing around with skin tones and colors with this picture. making a face look zombie-fied was quite difficult so I dropped all the thinking and focused on having fun. It turned out very well.

Zombies Ate Andy Warhol

Oh this one. Well this one was actually made ----->
while I was waiting for my murder movie (Friendship's Eternal End) to render. I had just finished "What Zombie's Eat" earlier and I decided to play around with the settings. It ended with four separate pictures of different hues and saturation. That's when i laughed and decided it looked like something Andy Warhol would do. Thus bringing on the title "Zombies Ate Andy Warhol."

My favorite part about this piece was creating the colors. I was just messing around and it became something and I really loved in the end.

Everyone Wants Happiness

This is the video that I did in the Fall in the Art 1.It "retold" the story of our school in a way that was easy for people to understand. IE Rap Video. I will warn you though, after one listen the chorus will be stuck in your head for days. Trust me on that, I edited this thing for months and it was stuck in my head for that long and more.

What Inspires Me

Many things inspire me to create art, but here are a few.

Leonardo DiCaprio. He is inspirational enough as is, (Hello, Titanic), but put him in a total mind blowing movie with a great soundtrack my inspiration goes sky high. My movie, which lacks in comparison to this excellent movie, share one beautiful thing. The soundtrack.

Let me tell you, I' don't get scared easily by these types of movies but this movie gave me the chills. Not only is this in TEXAS and there's CHAINSAWS and the whole MASSACRE thing, it has quite an interesting plot.

My inspiration isn't all murder, death, and killing. There is some mushy love, and happy romantic stuff mixed in there too. This book has to be one of the best romantic books that I've ever read. (Note: This was the only mushy romantic book I've read.)

This book taught me about time. Not only can people time travel, (well two in the book), but if you don't finish something today you can always time travel back and finish it tomorrow.

The movie was really hard to follow, but the guy who played Henry was hot, so it was inspirational.

We all live in a yellow submarine, yellow submarine...Oh, well this is awkward. Not only can I not sing (in this case type singing), but this song gets stuck in my head all the time. How inspirational can it be to live in a yellow submarine, a yellow submarine.

After searching for a witty inspirational quote to end this with, I've decided to end this post with a few words from Dr. Seuss. He is very inspirational.

Steven Spielberg

So tell me. What do these things have in common?

If you said "Nothing. The first three are movies and the last is of some old guy." You are wrong. Terribly wrong.

The connection is actually with that "some old guy". That guy is the director of those three movies and many many more. His name? Steven Spielberg.

What's that? You say, "Oh! I've heard of him! I didn't know he did those movies." Well you are correct. Steven Spielberg is the Mr. Monopoly of the movie spectrum. Name a movie, and Steven Spielberg was some how associated in the movie.

Barrack Obama about their
World War II movie, "The Pacific."

Tom Hanks both Co-Produced.

at the Presidential meeting of ET.

That's right, Steven Spielberg has met the who's who of Hollywood and DC. This man, who's 65, is unstoppable. He's the co-founder of DreamWorks and several other corporations. Being the 245th richest man in the world, and having all of those riches self made is a big thing. It leaves a lot of money for his wife (Jessica Capshaw) and his 7 kids (Jessica, Max, Theo, Sasha, Sawyer, Mikaela, and Destry).

This man, even after filming so many movies, finds time to have hobbies. Not only does he find it his passion to buy props to some of his childhood movies and from movies he's directed, he also see's movies on the weekends. He is an avid film buff, and when he's not behind the camera he's watching other people's movies. He sees almost every major summer blockbuster in theaters if he's not working on films and enjoys all of them by applauding on the acting skill, direction, scene selection, writing, etc.

Ever since Spielberg has played Pong while filming Jaws in 1974, he has been a gamer. He owns a Wii, a Play Station 3, a PSP, and an Xbox 360. His favorite games are Medal of Honor, and all of the Call of Duty games. Just think, you could have been playing with Steven Spielberg during any of your matches!

His inspiration from gaming gave him the inspiration to direct The Adventures of Tintin in a different way. Creating a 3D world for the animation to exist, they gave Spielberg a giant game controller to control the camera movement in this world for filming.

So where do I end up in all of this? Well I love all of Steven Spielberg's work. His movies are instant hits in my opinion because they are very well crafted and he knows what to agree too and what to give to other directors. (That's why you don't see him directing any of the Twilight movies.) He is my inspiration not only for his work, but also outside of work he is still the down to earth man that you would enjoy talking too. From the interviews I've seen, you would have never known that he was this billion dollar director.

If only I could meet him.
